Giving a lecture on Legal English at Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University in Guangzhou 中山大学法学院. After teaching there for the 2000-01 academic year, I try to return at least once a year to give a lecture and visit with friends on the faculty and staff (November 2009).

The clear waters at the Asian Dragon Bay 亚龙湾 in Sanya on Hainan Island have been attracting more and visitors in recent years. I had the 7 km strip of sand largely to myself, as I visited before many larger hotel chains discovered the area (December 1999).
